Join this log stool making course in Melbourne! This is a 2x 2 hour very small group course (max 4 people) that that runs 4pm to 6pm Saturdays or Sundays. The course can also be booked for private sessions during the week for 2 people on a day and time thats suits you via request.

Bring a friend, partner, Mum, Dad, son or daughter and let us show you the basics from machining all the way to sanding and finishing your pieces.

Your expert instructor will show you how to craft your very own solid timber log stool using Australian native Cypress pine, a plantation-grown timber with medicinal and aromatic properties that Indigenous Australians have used for generations.

Don't worry if you're new to woodworking, our industry qualified instructors at CoCraft will guide you safely through every step of the process.

Over the two sessions you will:

  • Joint and machine the timber from rough sawn

  • Cut angles on legs with a professional panel saw,

  • Sand and assemble the pieces with precision,

  • Utilise specialised tools like the Domino and straps for clamping,

  • Apply wax and stain for a professional finish.

  • Timber is included in the class fee - no more to pay

By the end of the class, not only will you take home a practical and beautiful piece of furniture each but you'll also walk away with newfound skills and a sense of accomplishment.

Note: These 2 sessions can be booked on Saturday or Sunday afternoons or contact us for weekday bookings on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursdays.
