I attended a 2 hour workshop as a complete beginner and it was such a great introduction to the basics. I learned about different types of wood, was shown how to safely use machinery and put together my own chopping board.

Brett was friendly, approachable, and very forthcoming with information. He even offered extra guidance on using the power drill, which I really appreciated as a first-timer. The venue and materials were great and well set up for learning. What I liked most was how relaxed and non-intimidating the whole experience was. It felt very accessible and made woodworking feel enjoyable and achieveable.

Highly recommend for anyone curious to try woodworking for the first time!
